ScrubCaps for a Cause

ScrubCaps for a Cause was founded by Tina Tarantola UF MD’05. Her non-profit awards scholarships to women pursuing medical degrees.

The following requirements must be met to be considered for a scholarship:

  1. Woman in an allopathic or osteopathic medical school program having completed at least one semester.
  2. One scholarship per year can be applied for, and applications are taken on a rolling basis for the same academic year.
  3. An essay, see application for details.
  4. One letter of recommendation.
