Scholarship – Join in on a wonderful cause!

Attention All 1MD, 2MD, and 3MD students. If you’ve walked around campus lately, you may have noticed orange and blue ties hanging around and wondered – why? Popularized by Mr. Two Bits, the ties represent Stand Up & Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day! Our campus is dressed up and ready for our second giving day on Thursday, February 20. The goal is simple. Let’s get as many gifts – of any amount – as possible for our College of Medicine.

A fellow Gator doctor is standing up for the College of Medicine in a big way this year and issuing a challenge. For every 100 gifts, this donor has pledged $100,000 to the College of Medicine — up to $500,000 total! Help our college hit its goal of 500 gifts and unlock the full potential of this pledge. If you are on campus next Thursday, you can make a gift outside the HPNP building at the “Pop Out and Give” event where you can pick up kettle corn, see Beau the service dog, take photos and more. You can also make a gift in just a few clicks at givingday.ufl.edu. Find “College of Medicine” and select the fund you would like to support. Done!
